Once you have identified a patient who might benefit from VNS Therapy, the next step is determining if that patient's insurance plan will provide coverage. To help your practice through that process, Cyberonics offers resources and support.

Once the Regional Case Manager receives the Insurance Verification information, an assessment of the most likely process and requirements for coverage submission will be communicated to you. Based upon this assessment, you and your patient can then determine next steps. Over 300 health plans have provided coverage for VNS Therapy in TRD over the past 2 years. This experience provides insight that may be helpful to you and your patients.
