TRD Outcomes is an effectiveness assessment database designed to collect outcomes and summarize aggregate results of early post-approval experience with VNS Therapy in TRD.  The goal of TRD Outcomes is to provide patients and physicians with useful post-approval outcomes data for VNS Therapy. TRD Outcomes will provide “real world” insight and experience to assist you and your patients in making treatment decisions.

182 psychiatrists are participating in TRD Outcomes.  These psychiatrists supply baseline data on patients before initiating VNS Therapy and provide outcomes updates at 3, 6, and 12 months.  As of January 5, 2007, baseline patient characteristics have been entered for 248 patients, 3-month data for 102 patients, and 6-month data for 66 patients.  As of February 28, 2007, enrollment of new psychiatrists in TRD Outcomes was closed.
